the month of no leg shaving #yepiampubliclyproclaimingthis

this may be awkward...but i dont see it that way. I see it as me sharing what others wont so we can all laugh!

I posted the other day on facebook about my son opening a tampon and leaving it on the floor. the maintenance man came by and went into the bathroom #superawkward #whousestamponswhenpregoanyway  #butstillawkward

i felt weird sharing it on facebook...but i just had to. Then i had something funny happen today and wanted to share...but now i am here ;)

So, we moved into our new apartment about a month ago #longstory #wemovedawayfrommarijuana #nopregohighhere   I love our new apartment (still the same complex, but thats problems for another post). I love it. Its bigger, nicer, and came with broken stuff. So we asked the maintenance crew to come and fix all our problems. So I waited and waited AND WAITED 2+ weeks. Guess what our problems were? only warm water in the shower and dryer not working (other problems like doors getting stuck closed and our deadbolt not working were minimal compared to that).

I AM PREGNANT. i want what i want, and its pretty hard to make me happy when I have to take cold showers. my husband didnt mind...BUT I DID! our bathroom is in this corner of our house and doesnt get hot air, and its freezing these days. so, i would shower as fast as possible. ESPECIALLY because the shower head made it feel like i was at an accupuncture treatment (ive had that done, and would prefer paying someone real to do it, not have glass shards hit my body as i take a cold shower)

Anyway, so i hated it. it made me grumpy. so guess what i did. i showered way less. yep, i am publicly proclaiming this, because you cant shave your legs when there are goose bumps and needles hitting you. So now, all of you are referring back to how long i have lived here. Yep, it became a no-shave-february at this house #goodthingmyhusbanddoesntcare #reallyhedoesnt #actuallyhecanttellthedifference  now you all wish you had soft, blonde, long leg hairs too

Anyway, anyway....so we got maintenance to come after a few weeks. they said they raised the water temp...nope. so i made them come again. and in between that time, i bought a new shower head, and i made them install that for me. #pregopower #wootwoot     so finally i could take a hot shower....yes!     no! eli is awake. and no shower for me :(

come the next day. i am so excited to shower. i hop in as soon as i can when eli is asleep. i am enjoying it sooooo much that i sit there for so long, that the hot water runs out before i can even shower, but alone shave my legs. haha    

good news. I am now in my towel writing this whole thing with shaved legs....ok. not in my towel, but #legsfinallyshavED!!   but i did have to go out in my towel on the first floor with my windows open. #whodoesthat?   oh you know, the crazy lady who decides to put away all of her normal garments because i had a lower belly draft start happening, and pull out my old garments from when i was fat...i mean, heavier (i never wore maternity garments before, haha. i just wore the garments from 40 lbs ago! #moneypincher #lovingit!)   so i washed all of them, but they were all in the washer when i decided to take my deluxe shower. so i only had one choice. throw one pair in the dryer while i showered, but then i had to come out in a towel. i didnt have time to close my blinds!! i needed that warm shower, my legs couldnt go any longer. but no one saw me, unless they happened to be spying through their binoculars from the third floor through their window #likemyfreshmandays  (ok, dont think im a weirdo...we didnt watch people get dressed duh! we watched byu-idaho at its finest! the goodnight scene haha)


Wow. So that was my day. I have shaved my legs and finally pulled out my maternity garments at 24 weeks (almost 6 months). but dont worry, i wont wear any of my maternity clothes until i am huge. like bulging out of my normal clothes, because i have to wait as....long.....as..........possible! because thats the hiptster thing to do #sinceimtoteshipster    ok, im not super hipster. but i can just fit in everything still. i just can. my pants fit fine and so do my shirts (minus a few of them). so dont judge, just love ;)
